Protection of your data is important. In our following data protection declaration, which we have produced according to the requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, in particular Art 13 GDPR) with the information provided for there, you will find information about the data protection law aspects of our internet appearance.

The legal foundation for processing can be consent requested from and granted by you (Art 6 subsection 1 lit a) GDPR) or the necessity of processing for the performance of a contract with you (Art 6 subsection 1 lit. b9 GDPR) or a legal obligation which affects us (Art 6 subsection 1 lit c) GDPR) or attending to justified interests (Art 6 subsection 1 lit f) GDPR), for example documentation of use of our offer or also coincidence of a number of the aforementioned reasons.

5. SSL encryption, cookies, social networks, analysis tools

SSL encryption

When we transmit confidential data, we use an SSL encryption. You can recognise this by the display “https://” in your browser.

Cookies

On our internet site, we use cookies, small files which are stored on your hard disk and in which information is stored which the service setting the cookie can read out again. This is only possible if you have allowed this in your browser, in which context permission is the default setting of most customary browsers. You can individually change this default setting in your browser and thus prevent the use of our cookies.

Piwik

This website uses Piwik for web analysis. For this, use information (including your curtailed IP address) generated by “cookies“, text files, is transmitted to the server and stored for use analysis purposes after it has been anonymised. The information generated by the cookie concerning your use of the site is not forwarded to third parties. You can prevent the installation of the cookies by a matching setting in your browser software; however, we point out that you will possibly not be able to make full use of all the functions of this website in this case.

Challenge

If you do not agree to storage and evaluation of the use information which has been generated, you can challenge it subsequently. In such a case, a so-called deactivation cookie is set on your browser, which results in Piwik not recording any data on your session. Social networks in general

To the extent that we provide buttons with the name of a social network on our website, you can open the social network in question or its internet site if you click on the button in question. You then go to the site of the social network in question from our site. Facebook

Plug-ins from the Facebook social network, provider Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, have been integrated on our sites. In this way, Facebook is given the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. Google +1

Our sites use functions of Google +1. The provider is Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Collection and forwarding of information: With the help of the Google +1 button, you can publish information worldwide. Via the Google +1 button, you and other users receive personalised contents from Google and our partners. Google stores both the information that you have given +1 for a content and also information about the site which you were looking at when you clicked +1. Your +1 can be shown as references together with your profile name and your photo in Google services, for example in search results or in your Google profile, or at other places on websites and adverts in the internet. Google records information about your +1 activities in order to improve the Google services for you and others. In order to be able to use the +1 button, you need a public Google profile which is visible all over the world and must at least contain the name chosen for the profile. This name is used in all Google services. In some cases, this name can even replace another name which you have used in the sharing of contents via your Google account. The identity of your Google profile can be displayed to users who know your e-mail address or possess other information which identifies you.
Use of the recorded information: alongside the purposes of use described above, the information provided by you is used according to the valid Google data protection directives. Google possibly publishes summarised statistics about the users’ 1+ activities or forwards them to users and partners such as publishers, advertisers or connected websites.

Google Adsense

Our website uses Google AdSense, a service for integration of adverts of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google AdSense uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of the use of the website. Google AdSense also uses so-called web beacons (invisible graphics).
With these web beacons, information such as the number of visitors can be evaluated on these sites. The information generated by cookies and web beacons about the use of this website (including your IP address) and supply of advertising formats are transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. This information can be forwarded by Google to contracting partners of Google. Google will however not put your IP address together with other data of yours which have been stored.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by a matching setting in your browser software; however, we point out that you will possibly not be able to make full use of all the functions of this website in this case. By using this website, you declare your agreement with the processing of the data collected about you by Google in the way described above and for the aforementioned purpose.

6. Forwarding of your data to third parties

If you conclude contracts with third parties via our site, we forward the data necessary for performance of the contract to these third parties so that they can fulfil the contract (Art. 6 subsection 1 lit. b und f GDPR). You are informed about this and the data forwarded in the individual case beforehand at the place in question.

We forward your e-mail address to the sponsors named on our site at the time of your approval – only insofar as and to the extent that you have consented to this beforehand –, so that they can send you the e-mail on the product categories selected by you and stated on our internet site at this e-mail address.

If you have separately consented to a forwarding of the telephone number or the postal address notified to us, we forward these data to the sponsors named on our site at the time of your approval for the purpose of marketing by post or by telephone, so that they can send you product advertising tailor-made to match you concerning the products selected by you and stated on our internet site via these channels.

This forwarding is done within the statutory framework of Art. 6 subsection 1 lit. b and f GDPR.

If a statutory obligation to forward your personal data to third parties exists (Art. 6 subsection 1 lit. c) GDPR), we comply with this obligation. The same applies in the event of a legal dispute (Art. 6 subsection 1 lit. f GDPR), in the event of take-over of our enterprise by a third party or of insolvency (Art. 6 subsection 1 lit. f GDPR).

We ourselves do not have the intention of transmitting your data to a third country or an international organisation (Art. 13 subsection 1 lit. f) GDPR). However, use of Google Analytics and Google Fonts does mean transmission of personal data to Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google LLC is a member of the EU-US Privacy Shield (www.privacyshield.gov). A suitability resolution of the European Commission has yet to be passed.

Our servers have been protected against unauthorised access according to the state of the art, our employees have been trained and are reliable, the stored data have been encrypted and our rooms physically protected against unauthorised access.

Correction, deletion, limitation of the processing, contradiction

You have the right, at any time with an effect for the future, to contradict processing of your personal data, to request their deletion or correction or limitation of the processing by us.
